How accurate is this estimate?
It is an indicative professional fee for the scope you selected. The final scope and fee are confirmed in your written proposal. Building work and statutory fees are separate, as are survey scope, application submission, structural calculations, building regulations and party wall services unless they are expressly listed.
Why do some projects say "Tailored quote"?
Some scopes are quoted individually rather than from a table — a basement, or a wraparound extension. We confirm the scope with you before preparing a fee, so you are not given a figure that does not fit the work.
What is included in the fee?
For an extension, architectural drawings for the area and scope you selected. For a basement, also a Design & Access Statement and a Planning Statement. For a new build, architectural drawings to RIBA Stage 3. For lease plans, the number of plans selected, with existing CAD availability reflected in the fee.
What happens after I get my estimate?
You can download your project brief to keep a copy, and book a project consultation. We review the brief and come back to you with a written proposal confirming the services and the fee.
